The five weapons of Darkstar, their blades crossing in a cresendo of energy, with the weapon that was the reason for the annihilation of the Ancient Dragon race being suspended above them.
Valgarv, reborn or not, would probably always be living a life of looking over his shoulder. For he had been absorbed into the mind of the unholy Darkstar and that of Vorfeed, and learnt secrets that would terrify and entrall the Mazoku and Shinzoku races. Secrets that they would devote all of their resources to prevent from getting out. If this dragon should ever somehow discover and unlock the memories of his past life, it would almost certainly result in his death.

I’m not exactly a fan of the final season of slayers; I felt it was a step down from the “Lord of Nightmares” ending of -Slayers Next-. If they had great shots like this one in them, I might have thought again.
