20,000 Kiriban present ;) Grown-up Haku in Spirited Away, for
(Next Kiriban is 30,000: Screencap has the advantage when two people get the same count^.^; )

I did the usual trad+digital mix drawing of mine, but this time I used digital more than traditional. So the digital category was selected for submission.^^

Miyazaki's heroes are not easy to draw for me (in different meaning from those of CLAMP or Watase yuu), but I love Haku! Enjoyed this Kiriban very much ;D

You know, Haku is the spirit of a small river (rather creek). Haku's character is kinda tragic since he isn't in the Chihiro's real world any more. Haku's creek disappeared for good, filled with pebbles & sand and changed into a residential area. That's why the remained Haku's hand looked so sad when he and Chihiro parted with at last scene. (Disney removed that line(Haku's creek disappeared) in Dub version, I suppose...)

Well but Haku will be forever in Chihiro's and his fans' minds. :) Happy new year, friends :heart:

this is beautiful, I loved spirited away and always thought it was very unfinished, I would have loved to see more of a conclusion, I love this peice it is exceptionally well done
