I've been recovered from my delivery, and started a new quarter in a new school. Courseworks and babycares overwhelm me! Oh yes, I've a favor to ask you(especially who live in the US); I'm taking an English class and the instructor gave me a homework about "fads".

"Describe some ways in which young Americans express their individuality trhough their clothing/ body piercing/ tattoing/ language/ etc. What is the effect of these? How do older adults react to these fads?"

If you have time, would you give me some ideas please? It'd be cool! It's also one of the most interesting things that I want to know, regardless of homework.
